Is mango skin....?

is mango skin edible please answer asap cause my sister accidently made a mango lassi(indian mango drink) and didnt peel the skin

Yes its edible, but it won't taste as good as the inside fruit itself. The skin tend to be tough, chewy, fiberous, & sometimes can be bitter to taste.

I knew someone that used to make some juices too/ smoothies/shakes they added the mango because was too lazy to remove the skin just removed the seed & threw the whole thing in the blender. Its ok but the taste has a bitter after taste to it , so he added sugar, juice & it was good to go & at least you have your daily fiber to drink.

It's edible but usually not eaten, think of it as extra fiber and next time, peel it before using --- you'll enjoy it a lot more!
