Depends on what country you want to immigrate to and where from.  If you just want to LIVE in another country and need a residence or work visa, that can take a few weeks to 2 years.  f you actually want to apply to imigrate, it can take up to 8 years for the U.S. and some other countries.  It varies greatly, country to country.  You need to check the website of the embassy of the country you are intersted in to get immigration information.  Some countries do not want immigrants and so have very strict regulations.
