Is mrs butterworths original syrup vegan?

i heard that all syrup is vegan accept if its buttermilk, but thats obvious.

i've searched all over the internet and cant find anything on this question, so help me out.

Spend a bit more and treat yourself to pure maple syrup. It tastes a lot better!

INGREDIENTS:

High fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, water, salt, cellulose gum, molasses, potassium sorbate (preservative), sodium hexametaphosphate, citric acid, caramel color, natural and artificial flavors.

The natural and artificial flavors may come from an animal.

The ingredients look horrible, but probably.  The natural flavors are, of course, a questionable ingredient.  However, they're probably not animal based unless the label indicates a meaty flavoring.  Still, it doesn't hurt to ask the company.

But really, spend the extra money and get the real stuff.  And get it organic, too.

the sugar may have cane sugar which is made from animal bones. and the flavors may come from dairy or other animal-related things, but i don't really know. sorry.

I would assume yes unless honey is involved.

Natural ingredients could be animal but I don't see what would be used other than honey.

I eat it.
