Is my camera broken ?

i took my camera to the beach and it got splashed but i thought it was water proof so i didnt think anything of it. it worked fine but then when i went to look at my pictures on the car ride home my camera would turn on and the lense would go in and out repeatedly so i tried charging the battery but nothing is working.. when i put the battery in the same thing happened. what do i do ??

You should maybe consult your Troubleshooting Menu for the Camera. What camera model do you have? Depending on that, your camera might not be water proof afterall. You should go back to the Store where you bought you camera from, or to a camera professional to see what advice and help they can give you. But my first reaction to such thing would be to maybe let the camera rest a bit, the camera might be exhausted. =)
