  1. That's pretty good. Keep practicing ;) There's a line of books called How to Draw Manga that u can find in ur local library and at the book stores. Here's a few that will help u improve ;)

  2. The nose on that picture needs to be bigger, so does the headband.

I used to draw like that. Keep drawing and u'll get better.

I think you've got a natural talent. You just need practice.

  3. pretty average really

  4. I wouldn't rate it very high.  It's not a bad picture, but it could use a lot of improvement.

At the angle you have her turned to, you should be able to see more cheekbone definition on the right side of her face (viewer's right).  The headband is cute but the angle seems a little off...

^ Notice how her headband follows the general angle and curve of her head.

Remember also that in manga the hair is generally pretty important.  Unless you're going for that shounen anime style, try to draw more individual strands like this.  http://media.photobucket.com/image/anime...

It takes more effort, but in the end it's really worth it and if you practice, you'll get the hang of it, it'll be fun to do, and your drawings will look awesome.  : )

Two more things:  usually in anime-style, you don't draw the character's entire lips, you suggest them.  http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll25/...

^ See how you can tell where her bottom lip is, but don't actually see it?

And also as you'll probably notice, eyebrows in anime are higher than regular eyebrows to give more exaggerated emotional expression.  Don't forget to draw an eyelid also!

I hope I'ved helped you somewhat with your artwork.  ^.^

  5. That's really sweet and awesome. I like it a lot. Before you start drawing, grab a big sheet of paper and some pastels and draw big circles and loose lines. That will loosen your hand and when you actually grab a pencil or crayon you will fly!

Try to draw really smooth at first, (don't press the pencil hard on the paper) and don't be afraid of drawing smooth and "out of track" lines. Once you have the basic shapes start pressing a bit harder and if you feel like it use an ink pen to draw the final set of lines.

Buy a set of watercolors and apply color on a photocopy of your line art. You could also scan the black ink drawing and apply colors in Photoshop. Here's a cool tutorial that teaches you how:

  6. it's beautiful but if you want the eyes look like and anime don't draw too much eye lashes maybe draw a little bit um maybe 1, 2 or 3 eye lashes..

or if you want the eyes look like human eyes draw it similar to our eyes..maybe look in the mirror to copy your eyes...

    but overall it's good...nice job..

    my rating 8..

i will send you my drawings..if you want too...
