Is my husband dying?

my husband has severe diabetic neropathy, poor controlled type 2 diabetes, bronchitis, pnemonia, several stomach ulcers, gastroparesis and now he throws up blood that is coming from the stomach....I;m thinking ulcers maybe. He went to the doctor today and she was concerned that he was throwing up the blood..(coffee ground looking stuff). He had been throwing up the blood for days and all of a sudden it has stopped. The doctor said that that in itself may be a bad sign. What could it mean to abruply stop vomiting blood? What do you think it could be? kidney disease...or even failure?? Please tell me what you think of all this? He has started to go downhill quick in the last 2 years. He was diagnosed with all this about 2 years ago as well. He lived a hard party life drinking and drugs....hard...alcohol for over 10 years...cigarettes for 15 years.(1-2 packs a day) has now quit...and drugs for the past15 years...

please help.

  1. Sounds like you've already had your diagnosis, so what is it you want validation? to increase the life insurance? what?

Are you going to wait until he quits breathing to seek alternative therapy or wait until you are cashing the life insurance check to ask what if?

If he is indeed as sick as you say, he needs a miracle not more doctors.

  2. I really hope not. It sounds like he might be. The doctors might be able to  happen though. Hope everything's okay.

  3. Hi,

I am sorry I do not know your name. ( i would prefer to email it all but there isn`t any in your profile)  I will tell you what I see,  before you read it think if you want to know the answer for your question..

From what I see, he is in bad state, and it is not much time left, 3 month that is coming will be the edge, if he get over them he will live ... Not much time left to waist, what I would suggest is to go to doctors and  though you described all those sicknesses, i would suggest to cheack his blood and bones, from what i feel it look like he has a cancer that spread from bone, or has something to do with it ( maybe cause blood produced in bones as we know). I am sure he need to take MRI. Yes there is allot that has been done, in life.. but what done is done.. no time to waist get him for MRI and scan test. There is a chance to fix it in a way. I am sure he has pains in abdominal aria and  hes eye sight affected.. thou gh it all seem far from cancer with blood and bones still please if you have chance just check it up. Another thing  due to his ulcers that in some way a reason of spitting blood, i think it is caused by pancreas it also play big role in blood stat.  From all my heart wish you a miracle and him to get over it. there is a chance just don't waist time.

    God be with you two,

    Pavel

    p.s.

Though people will accuse me in saying bullshit or something but I said what i see. One more thing there is Danis  who there for him to support and help.

  4. The end is near.

  5. take him to the hospital, he needs some test done, either way im afraid that sounds not too good....i will pray for your family, im sry

  6. First let me say I am sorry that your husband is so ill. From what you have written he and your family are going through some difficult times.

Your list of illnesses and the history of how he lived his life is overwhelming.

I would suggest you speak to his doctor and ask for the long term prognosis. Please do not rely on probable misdiagnosis however well intentioned on Y/A.

I hope you can receive strength from your family and friends during this difficult time.

    Best wishes

  7. Your husband saw the doctor with these symptoms, and was not hospitalized? If not, I would go for a second opinion. I work in a hospital, and with those symptoms people are admitted and have endoscopy and gastroscopies, ultrasounds, CT scans, and if warranted stomach biopsies, etc. all the time. A stomach biopsy is not done just if cancer if suspected. Sometimes they just want to analyze a little piece of stomach tissue to help diagnose. I had one like a month ago, no cancer yet still helpful. I usually have several people on my caseload for that everyday.  Anytime a person is throwing up coffee ground blood it needs investigating. It may be minor, but still needs to be diagnosed and treated.

  8. Lady, I am truly sorry to hear of your situation, but psychics have no ability in this area.  This is a question for medical doctors, not carnival workers.  I hope his health improves.

  9. You should be in a different YA department, definatelly not Parapsychology.

Anyone that is not in the medical field should be ashamed of themselves if answering this question.

I will say a prayer for you and your family.

  10. He probably is dying from what you've said. Sorry =(

  11. Most of the questions on here are trivial or non-serious.

Yours is serious.  Please, get the best medical advice you can, from other doctors or qualified people.  Ask for the appropriate tests to be done.  Do not ask for psychics, they are not real.

    .

  12. Edit- Possibly he should go to the ER now...esophageal varices or bleeding ulcers could be life threatening.

He should see a gastroenterologist if he hasn't already. Coffee grounds could be an upper GI bleed from say ulcers or esophageal varices or throat cancer, etc. So why isn't the doctor looking into that with an upper GI X-ray or gastroscopy or similar testing. Alcoholics can get varicose veins in the throat that can bleed too and it can be fatal if they break open and bleed into the lungs...called esophageal varices. Like I said, he should go to a gastroenterologist and get checked out.

  13. wow, he's f***ed-up

    he is dying.
