We just upgraded to DSL this year - maybe 3 or 4 weeks before Easter. We've already had problems with what was shipped to us and had to make replacements. (not the modem but the phone jack connectors - one of them went bad)
Now the Internet is taking FOR EV A to load almost anything (yahoo answers loads quite well for me however) - 15 minutes to log into a site, 10 minutes to read email (I don't know how long because I loose patience after 10 minutes)
We had a storm come through last night I turned the PC off - I am obviously online but most websites are super super slow - flylady is also loading quite well for me, incidentally .
I did a disk defrag & cleared all cookies, etc, that was all I could think of to do.
So anyway - is it my modem? Is it the internet in general? (about 2 weeks ago clicking links on my PC froze it up but that passed & now that issue is no more)
Will this, too, pass?
