Is my period coming?

Question

I've already started my periods and I was wondering how I will know when I'm about to have my period (they're not regular yet).

I have been quite moody (So annoying, when does it stop?). I have also been having a lot of discharge (I mean a lot) as well.

And last night I couldn't sleep, not because of period pains, but I felt so uncomfortable and it hurt (my tummy) like a bit bad.

I'm almost 13 btw.

Mine is moody. and very cramping.

wear a pantyliners for the discharge or a a very thin pad it helps.also you wont ruin your panties if u start your period

you might be..wear a pad or tampon just in case and mark when ever your period comes and see if there is a pattern also..check up with your doctor cause it might NOT be your period..you might just be sick or something

lol..honey..your period wont become regular for about 3 more years...ive had mine for going on 3 years and if still hasent become regular..and my friends period didnt become regular till she was 17..and she started when she was 13..so yea..just telling you that..and well there are alot of signs appearing when your about to start your period..it just depends on the girl...so just watch out for what your body signals are ..for instance..for me..my thighs start to get sore..my b***s get tender sometimes..not always..and my v****a hurts..like on the inside..and yea..there are lots of signs showing that your period is coming...just watch your body..and i have to tell you ..you should really be talking to your mom about this..and not asking total strangers..now if you live with your dad, or grandparents or someone...ask an female adult you trust...if it may be your aunt..a teacher..your school nurse..but yea.lol..good luck!
