Is my plasma normal?

It makes a creaking or cracking noise. I did some research and only got some mixed results saying that it was normal because of how much the TV heats up and people saying that theirs don't do it at all. I mean we just wanna know if its typical that it makes this "Creaking" and "Cracking" noise.

If its new and doing that, then no, you should get it replaced or return it.

Some crackling is normal when you turn the tv on and off but this shouldn't be too loud. This will sound like somebody rolling a bean bag inside the TV and shouldn't last more than 10 seconds and should definitely not sound like anything is breaking inside. If this is happening while you are watching tv this could be an indication that there is a more serious problem with the tv and you should have it looked at by a pro.
