I just bought a rose bubble tip anemone and one day he looks sick and his tentacles look kinda shrivels and the next day hes fine? I tried feeding him and the food will stick but a few hours later its still just sitting there and the next morning the food was at the bottom of the tank. Is he sick or are they just like that ?? He looks healthy when he is all open and full but then looks sickly?

  1. Sea anemones are funny like that! Just make sure he is getting enough light, once he settles in(Sometimes takes a week or more) He will find a bright spot and sit there all big and fluffy all day.

  2. From personal experience the RBTA does best at a salinity of 1.026 and high lighting and moderate water flow, make sure you have a powerhead bring the salinity up a touch make sure your water parameters are in check and that your lighting is sufficient.   Try silversides once or twice a week...they will eat your fish...mine ate an ocellaris clown.

  3. you have a chiller right? and make sure the water is ok
