Is namaz still valid?

Question

If you have no choice but to pray in a place where there are pictures hanging around, is the namaz still valid??

well atleast cover the picture thats infront of you when you pray.

Abu Bakkar(RA) once prayed (when Khalifa) . he could'nt break the idol that's infront of him so he covered the idol with a cloth and prayed. so i think you SHOULD cover the picture.

Namaz is valid ,just angels do not antrance to that room. But better to pray there,than leave prayer. You did correct.

Its not about the physical doing, its about intention. Allah knows who u are praying to.

I think hanged pictures are easy to be removed, but if that's a 'no choice' so I guess you could concetrate on Namaz and do it.

Almighty is father to us. Child's love expressed in whatever manner would always be loved/liked by father/mother.

Without any intention to hurt anybody, I genuinely feel that it is sick mind that seeks justification form  others for correctness of expression of love & respect by him.

Love & respect expressed with pure heart would always be pure irrespective of its time, place & surroundings.

erm i wud think so yes becuase its not ur fault and its great that u still prayed insead of using the place u were praying in as an excuse not u pray if u get me lol :P
