Is pea a high yielding crop?

I just need to know about high yielding crops,so I was just wondering whether pea is one of them or not. I will be obliged if you reply soon. You can even ask me questions & if I know the answer I'll definitely try and help you. THANK YOU

High-yielding varieties (HYVs) are any of a group of genetically enhanced cultivars of crops such as rice, maize and wheat that have an increased growth rate, an increased percentage of usable plant parts or an increased resistance against crop diseases. Those crops formed the basis for the Green Revolution. In general, they require a higher level of agricultural care, such as intensive disease control, higher fertilizer levels and controlled water supply.

    Peas are an example.
