  1. It never started.

They never proved it, Mr. Al Gore managed to leave out the other part in his movie "An Inconvientient Truth." The other side of the pennisula was growing.

Plus, the Earth has warming 0.5 degrees F in the past century, I don't think we're all going to melt any time soon.

  2. Yes, the weather didn't cooperate. It's climate change now

  3. wow now lets think this through before we talk hmmm A MAJORITY OF REPUBLICAN BELEIVE IN GLOBAL WARMING TO now i can understand why you dont believe it but this question is just a hate speech against democrats

  4. what global warming ?it never started because it was never true!

  5. There was never global warming....

  6. Global warming was always only a theory... but the phrase and concept of "climate change" is one that should be given quite a bit of noteriety.

The only constant of the worlds climate is change, and however it changes, it is naive to suggest that all our countries are prepared for the next century, which could bring many different climate conditions.

It would be wise to prepare ourselves for the worst, I live in the UK and therefore have quite cool winters and mild summers. and therefore our country doesn't have the infrastructure in place to deal with such extreme conditions experienced elsewhere in places like canada or africa, the only sensible solution though, is for humans to relocate to places where the weather favours our preferred climate... central europe, the US, temperate mild, to warm tropical  conditions... and maybe research should be put into the control of the world's many micro-climates (ala: the ice to cool the sea down in futurama?)

  7. no! it just started and if we dont put a stop to it! ohh man theres a lot of things NEGITEVE happining!

  8. Not quite there are still a few things going on

And for a Dr who knows it all it is amazing that you don`t know this by now

the question is asked about 30 times everyday, and so drives

upstanding citizens to resort to endlessly pasting the same reply, can we sue you for mental cruelty

Global warming is but a component, in a group of destructive forces at work such as ;deforestation,desertification,Subsequen... wind and Water erosion, soil and water contamination ,irresponsible or wasteful utilization of bio resources and air pollution.

    WHICH WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR.

A while ago one of NASA's top scientists concluded that the Arctic Ocean could be nearly ice-free within five years, much faster than all previous predictions.

when the north pole is gone , you may have polar bears soon in America ,looking for a home ,

Calculations do not include the accumulative ,speeding up ,factor with time. the increase in water temperature will get faster all the time as well as the melting, when the ice is all gone the deeper cold Ocean currents will be drastically affected, which in turn will affect the warm currents, since all moving bodies of water are connected in series.

This will affect coastal climates ,world wide ,almost instantly. All aquatic flora and fauna will be affected, many dying off and others becoming invasive,

And recently In Chiapas ,and Tabasco in Mexico .more then a million people became homeless overnight with water coming up to their roofs ,because of rains from super evaporation from the forests, this had never happened before. Millions of animals died.

In India 3000 people died because of super storms .

.A few years ago in Europe 3500 people, died during a heat wave ,many of them in France .

Right now the average death toll annually is 150.000 due to Global warming

. these figures are already out of date and are expected to double soon.

In Northern China millions of people are running for their lives because regular dust storms so far have buried 900 villages under the sand and the whole of northern China is turning into a dessert.

The Sahara is growing by 7 kilometers a year all around the edges ,like a slow burning fire shriveling up their neighbors In the Kalahari huge rivers have dried up and thousand of species are gone due to their habitats disappearing .

The biggest changes are invisible at micro biotic levels species are becoming extinct ,others are multiplying ,

This affects the insect populations that follow ,and changes in that ,affect all that follows in the food chains ,

in the last 300 years half of the planets forests have gone

and in the last 50 years

half of our wet lands ,rain forests and ice fields .and 3000 species of animals .

We are now witnessing a mass Extinction of animals and plants of Biblical proportions, equal since the disappearance of the dinosaurs

    .

There is a series that you can download easy ,called

    bbc,Planet earth by David Attenborough.

    About 15 ---700mb videos

this is a photographic team that has been filming Nature stories all over the world ,for a very long time .

In 3 of the episodes called --the future--saving species(this one covers extinction and the importance of species)

the future--living together ,ice worlds ,

they compare films they made before of places and species to what they are filming now in the same places.

Many scientists give commentaries as well .

Whole migrations of animals involving millions have disappeared in only 20 years,

in one place in the tundras ,in just 5 years

If we want to save ourselves as a specie ,we have to address

    the problems

We can correct most of the destructive factors

with disciplines ,changes of attitude and habits, alternative energies ,sustainable design etc.

All species are in Danger eventually, and each is important because all of Life on this planet is interrelated even if it is not obvious

Imagine that the Eco system is a wall and each specie is represented by a brick

Every brick taken out weakens the wall ,and eventually it will collapse ,which brick is the most important ???

they are all important and we are one of the bricks

  9. Stick your head in the sand if you want to, but don't be upset about the waves washing over it.

  10. only in truth(since it never really existed) but in the minds of numb gullable sheep,it will live on.

I often wonder what the viking colonies thought when they developed greenland for farming and it froze over driving them away, then again that was before the 1880's and since records didnt exist,it cant be true?

  11. It never existed in the first place.

  12. im with warren

  13. Expert: "We're brainwashing our children" about global warming

Another post from guest blogger Rick Neale of Florida Today, from the National Hurricane Conference in Orlando:

William Gray, the well-known Colorado State University hurricane forecaster, routinely uses the annual National Hurricane Conference as a platform to bash global warming. In a statement to Florida Today, Gray argued that the scientific consensus on global warming is bogus — and "a mild form of McCarthyism has developed toward those scientists who do not agree" that mankind is in danger.

"We are also brainwashing our children on the warming topic. We have no better example than Al Gore's alarmists and inaccurate movie which is being shown in our schools and being hawked by warming activists with little or no meteorological-climate background," Gray wrote.

Some scientists believe global warming will actually decrease — not increase — the number of hurricanes that form over the Atlantic Ocean each year. Last Friday, in the final session of the hurricane conference, a pair of climate experts said rising sea-surface temperatures in and near the Caribbean could strengthen vertical wind shear. Robust wind shear is the bane of hurricanes, as it tends to tear apart cyclones during their formative stages.

"If (global warming) were to happen, that is an effect which should be more hostile to hurricane building," said Thomas Knutson, research meteorologist with the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory in Princeton, N.J.

Knutson and Chris Landsea, science and operations officer with the National Hurricane Center in Miami, said historic observation data and computer models debunk doomsday scenarios that foresee armadas of deadly hurricanes, slamming into the Southeast. "Any (hurricane) trend we're seeing due to global warming — and I do agree global warming's real, and manmade causes contribute to it — really has very limited impact, very tiny changes," Landsea said.

Both scientists referred to the global warming studies of ocean climatologist Kerry Emanuel of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Emanuel noted that from 1972-2004, Atlantic surface temperatures and hurricane intensity were closely linked.

2008: The year the world will cool down

The world will experience global cooling this year, according a leading climate scientist.

The head of the World Meteorological Organisation said La Nina - the weather phenomenon which is cooling the Pacific - is likely to trigger a small drop in average global temperatures compared with last year.

The prediction - which follows a bitterly cold winter in China and the Arctic - is prompting some sceptics to question the theory of climate change.

  14. its just beginning

  15. Dr. they will shift back to Global Cooling, as you know the Al Gore sheep will swallow it up.

  16. Did you read your own first link?  I like the part that says:

"In fact, this year's temperatures could still be way above the average - and it is possible that 2008 will exceed the record year of 1998 because of global warming induced by greenhouse gases."

and "the long-term temperature rises since 1880 can only be explained by carbon dioxide from human activity."

    As for your 2nd link:

Wow!  Snowfall in Minnesota, in April?  Surely that proves global warming is "over" ;-)

And rather than listen to one 78 year old former hurricane guesser (studies have shown he was no more accurate than random guessing, yet he made a career out of it), you might want to see what NASA (with the worlds largest concentration of climate scientists) says:

    http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/Study/G...

If you have "evidence" that these NASA scientists are all just a bunch of communists, then please provide it.
