  2. im fourteen i think im a little puppy fat-ish.... i am 70cm around the tummy and to make it worst i have no b***s im 46 kg and 156cm tall. dont worry she will grow out of it

  3. I can't believe you think that is fat, I agree with the BMI statement, and she is underweight according to that. I am wondering do you have some sort of eating disorder yourself that would make you wonder something like this about your child. Does she seem huge compared to the other children in her class or something? I do think that eating healthy and getting enough exercise is important for everyone including children but overdoing it is never good. Starting a child at such a young age to worry about their weight when it is not an issue can cause an eating disorder, so try to be careful what you say around her because you really don't want that!

  4. Yes! and she can do 'proper' man push ups, sit ups, and the splits and is very good at Tae-Kwon-Do, (since 5years old), has done extremely well at baseball & touch football, drama, choir etc.  Looks cute and loves lipgloss too.  What's the problem.  I'm thinking she still is a kid and will turn into a women soon enough, body and all.  She is a A student with lots of friends and a caring positive attitude ...that's the facts!

  5. I did a check on your BMI. You are fine. It is 20.69 which is neither under or over weight

  6. If she is 11 it is pretty normal and you can't say someone that young is fat !!!

  7. she is not fat.

  8. A better measurement (at least so I could get an idea of her over all )is BMI. If you could give me her height and weight I could tell you. I agree that children should not be made to feel babd about themselves but they should also not be growing up with a predisposition to diabetes, heart disease, depression, infertility and an array of problems that go along with childhood obesity.

I'll check back to see if you posted the ht and wt

Edit: Her BMI is 16.1. This child is underweight.

Edit 2: This puts her on the low side of normal.

  9. would you kindly put her weight  in imperial units? I never caught on with the metric system. ty

  10. If you just want the facts, take your child to a pediatrician and get a professional opinion from someone qualified to give you  advice. When kids are eleven, sometimes they are a little chunky- with baby fat. As your child grows, her dimensions will change. My daughter got chunky looking before she hit puberty, but she was a skinny toddler and little girl. And, she was not heavy--I took her for her physical, and she was in the 75th percentile.

Today, she is a willowy, thin adult. Kids just look awkward for awhile, when they are growing. Probably nothing more than that.

  11. Sorry but I get so incensed when parents comment about their child's weight...you are sending your daughter a very bad message about herself and she will develop an eating disorder because she is going to be so concerned about being the "right" size.

  12. the world in lots of places is becoming obese, and this may be the problem here,or fast food or sweets,
