Is southern South America cold?

at the very bottom? its pretty close to Antartica so i was

wondering how cold it is down there.

Yes, at the very southern end it is cold. Snow, penguins, etc. Similar to northern Europe, Canada, but perhaps a bit less harsh because of the ocean so close.
