Is superstition true?

No - usually not - but a lot of Churches are full every weekend.  That is a case of " group superstition ".  Gotta be good - gotta show up for the service ( rites )- gotta make that donation - so the GOD will let me into Heaven after I die.  Hope he wasn't looking when I ran that old lady off the road back there. ( lol )

It's not true for those that does not believe in it.

It's true for those that believe in it.  And people does blame random bad luck on superstition.

I don't believe in superstition, but i do believe in Karma, which is totally different. superstition was started by ignorant people, they didn't know any better.

It depends on what superstition. Many people believe in them, and sometimes they tend to be true. I know someone who is very superstitious, and she believes that if you believe then they will happen.

Im guessing they are just in the mind.

The very definition of the word "superstition" implies that it has absolutely no factual basis.

"Superstition: A belief in something not justified by reason or evidence."

That's like asking if myths are true. Well, of course not, the definition of the word already implies that.

Not usually, hence the name "Superstition" as opposed to "Common Sense." Not being rude, really. Superstition is a notion that is widely believed in a given area, but, has no truth to it. Some thing that might be perceived as superstition can be true, but, then it is a truth and not technically a superstition. Ok......

its a very very controversial topic, what i feel is when u start believeing things do come true, and if u dont beleive it dosent makes any difference to u.
