  8. yes because you use every muscle in your body or at least you are using ur whole body unlike some sports where you only run or kick or dribble cuz swimming you are swimming a whole race w/o stopping like soccer you can stop and wait for the people to come to you. swimming you hav to complete the race w/o stopping or u will be disqualified. so swimming does keep you in shape definatly! it is one of the best sports because you are using whole body!

  18. yeah, i'm a swimmer and it definatly keeps you in shape and tones you up. but for girls, if you want to swim to lose weight it wont do anything. for some reason it just doesn't idont know. but it does strengthen your muscles and keeps you in great shape.
