Is swimming different in Triathlons ?

Also can I swim Breast stroke since it is faster than my crawl?

I don't see a reason for it to be different, all that would be different is the ocean instead of a pool.

Quick note, work on your swimming, front crawl is what everyone will be using, and if you use the breaststroke, you'll probably end up dead-last.

I ASKED MY DADDY hes been doing triathalons all his life, and he said it doesnt matter what stroke you do and the only diffrence is theres nothing to hold on to if you cant swim
