My cell contract is up in a few months and I have started the hunt for a new phone (maybe even a new company). I was really into the iphone until recently when the new 3G plan rates were announced and I just can't really cant afford that.
I've ran ubuntu for the past 6 months and I absolutely love it. I love getting my programs for free, and I love knowing that I'm not supporting some huge corporate conglomerate. I have to admit, though I'm no linux expert. I'm proficient enough to use the tutorials and how to sites, but I never know exactly what it is that I'm doing.
The neo freerunner sounds awesome, but I'm just kind of worried it will require too much linux proficiency and/or there wont be enough online assistance for me to really make good use of it. I'm also having a really hard time finding solid information as to just what exactly it has to offer.
If anyone could help me out with a brief over view of the phone, and what I need to work it, I would really appreciate it.
