Is the owens compass test hard ?

Has anybody ever took the Owens Community College compass test if you havnt took your ACT. well i am only 15.8 years old (almost 16.. i got 24 dayys) and i have to take it tomorrow . is it really hard ? how many questions are on it ?

As the academic testing specialist for my college, I can tell you a few things...

The COMPASS test is a progressive test. It wants to know how much you know, so if you answer the questions correctly, it will start asking harder questions until you start to answer them incorrectly. Then it will back up a step and ask some easier questions, then the testing will complete. Some people get a few questions, some people get many questions. The computer system we use is pretty random.

While every college is different, our college uses a ninth (9th) grade level. If you can show mastery on a ninth grade level, you're in.

I have seen too many students fail the exam because they stress out. Stress will make you second guess yourself. Always go with the first answer you selected unless your ABSOLUTELY sure that it is something else. I have students change their answers because they thought "it didn't look right" or "i thought that was it, but I changed it", when they were correct the first time.
