  1. I had laser done on mine years ago and it wasn't painful. I had to soak my foot in a plastic tub a few times a day..couldn't wear closed in shoes until it healed but I've never had any problems since then. ( I would say the toe is sensitive but not in pain.)

I don't know what you mean by injection, but all they did on mine was to laser the toe nail on the outside edge off so that the skin would heal over the straight line they made.

They never pulled my toe nail off.

It is really painless and it feels so good to be able to walk in closed in shoes without pain.

    Best Wishes

  2. h**l yah...

now shes got to keep it clean too, or it will get infected.  i did that too, had to soak my foot for a long time...

  3. lol ingrown toe makes it sound like she has one toe on her foot and its growing back into that foot...like 4 5 maybe 6

  4. Depends on pain tolerance, she will feel a stick and a burn. once its numbed up she wont feel it.

  5. girl yes.

  6. no the injection is not that bad!  i was a army medic and learned several surgery techniques. one of these was the ingrown infected toe nail. i have seen both with and with out lidicaine(the medicine used in deaden nerves.) the removal of the toe nail was quick with out deaden it. in fact the time it took to deaden a toenail could be used to remove said toe nail. how ever this is very, very, very painful. my advice is have them give her the injection.

  7. It stings a lot.

  8. My grandpa had his toenail removed...he's a pretty stoic guy, but you could tell he was really hurting.

  9. My son had it done on both feet and I was in the room and I don't think it was a walk in the park it looked very uncomfortable and painful and he was in a great deal of pain afterwards for a good long time. Just remember-- don't judge others unless you have walked in their shoes.

  10. yes....a 10 on that one.
