  1. I would recommend

    http://www.excite.co.jp/world/

    http://translate.google.com/

Also, a browser-based translator that you can use for translating words (not sentences):

You might like to try the SeaMonkey browser, developed by Mozilla, the one who developed/bought Firefox.

    http://www.seamonkey-project.org/

Then install the plugin for translating Japanese to English.

Download the plugin here for the SeaMonkey browser

    http://moji.mozdev.org/

    Hope these help you.

  2. It's "transrator". Hope that helps.

  3. Both of these are good translators.

    http://honyaku.yahoo.co.jp/

    http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/cgi-b...

These are bolth Japanese to English and English to Japanese.

For the first site, "英⇒日" this is English to Japanese.

This "日⇒英"  is Japanese to English.

The second site you can just insert the Japanese and it works. It can do sentences or single words.

BTW, If you don't mind, may I ask your native language?

  4. If you wanna translate the words(JP) to Eng ,try this  http://nihongo.j-talk.com/parser/

    I like this also http://excite.co.jp/world/

  5. http://babelfish.yahoo.com/
