Is there a sweet (brownie maybe) that is called an interstate?

Yes I understand that an interstate is a road coming off a highway. I am not talking about that kind of interstate. (just for those who are not as wise as others.)

But I have a friend that said her grandma has a recipie for a sweet thats called interstate. And that its kinda like a brownie. Does anyone know what this is. I could ask her but I probably won't get to see her again soon. So thanks for anyone who knows what this is.
