Is there rubber dinghies on airplanes???

me and my bf have been havin this argument for bout 3 months, he thinks they do have, i know they dont,but i cant prove it, pleeeease sum1 prove him wrong,,, its driving me crazy

You used the term airplane and not airline.

Absolutely incorrect when talking airplane. The C130 Hercules transport aircraft DOES have life rafts. They are located in the top, inboard sections of the wings. Four X 20 Man Liferafts filled with survival gear. They are deployed by liferaft release handles located at different positions within the aircraft.

On commercial airliners the escape chutes are designed to float, they inflate as soon as the doors are opened and can be easily detached from the aircraft.

because really, if you crash into the sea, you have less chance of surviveing compared to crashing on land.

If you do survive, the inflatable slides can be used as flotation raft.

No and to this date there are no reports that state that anyone has survived a large airline crash into the ocean, but you can use your seat cushions as a floatation device.

Only the slides, that you would slide down in an emergency exit. These are like lilo's! I wouldn't go as far as to call them dinghies as they don't offer any protection or anything. They are just flat with no sides...Remeber to take your heels off before you embark on them!!!

No...in the extremely slight chance that a plane crashes in a large body of water and somebody survives, the bottom of your seat can be used as a flotation device...they wouldn't use dingies lol.
