Is this a fair price?

We just got an estimate to have central air installed in our home and it came out to be $2370 and the type of unit is a rheem.can anyone tell me if that is a fair price?

Is it a high-efficiency?  

Can you call around with the model, etc., to a few other local places and see what they would charge?

Also, the warranty is important.  Be sure to include that if you inquire around.

Sounds good to me. I just paid $3500 to have a small air handler replaced.

Sounds llike a fair price to me. Mine cost 2500.00.

sounds okay.. mine cost $2200 and supposedly i got a great deal
