Is this a good foundation?

Question

Is the Maybelline Superstay Silky Foundation a good foundation? I need something that is longlasting and won't come off until I take my makeup off at night. So could anyone that has tried it give me a review such why you liked and didn't like it. If you didn't like it let me know why and if you want to be even nicer recommend something you found to be better and longer lasting... : ) Thanks!

i've never tried that one, but one that i usually wear that works great for me is Revlon stayactive.

i run a lot in the heat so my face gets sweaty and this can stay on when i do a 3 mile run in about 75 degrees. it's not a total miracle but it's close too it and stays on all day especially if ur not into hardcore sports. good luck on ur quest to find the right foundation for u!

It melts and wears off in a few hours. I wouldn't recommend it, but what I would recommend is Covergirl TruBlend. It lasts all day and doesn't melt.

Hey have you heard of arbonne? They do a great mineral powder/foundation, basically easy to apply with a brush like powder but goes on as foudnation to create a flawless and light appearance.  Plus it lasts all day which is great!

me and most of my friends are allergic to maybelline face products. i would recommend the face shop's the flower silky foundation. it's great especially if you have light skin.

You should try mineral makeup! Mineral makeup is natural, chemical and irritant-free (so it won't cause stress to your skin) and stays on until you wash it off -- a lot of women even sleep in it since its natural and fully breathable.

I DON'T recommend Bare Minerals or Sheer Cover! They're terrible and add too much Mica into their makeup which causes excessive shine. Go to CoconutBayCosmetics.com or Google 'natural mineral makeup'.

Honestly, I never knew how lovely minerals were until I found OTHER brands besides Sheer Cover and Bare Minerals.

EDIT to add: CoverGirl TruBlend looked great on me when I used it in the past, but a couple of hours in the sun melted it all off! It may work for you, but it was a waste of money for me. =(
