I baked my friend cookies for her birthday. (I was on a low budget)

HI!  How sweet of you to bake some 'sweets' for a friends birthday!  Yes, this is a very thoughtful gift...a gift that keeps on sharing. She will remember this far more than a 'material' gift.

Absolutely! It takes more thought to make cookies than to buy something!

Plus if she is your friend, anything you do will please her!

mmmmm.... cookies. i'd love to get that as a present because you know she'll use them (well, eat them). i always worry about if someone will use or like the present i got them.
