Is this a pink eye?

One of my eyes started to itch so i rubbed it....and like it hurts and my eyeball isnt red but eyelid and under is red and PUFFED..I put ice on it ...got worst....I called a pharmacist they said to pluck a few eyelashes where its puffed...its getting worst PLEASE help me

This has happened to me, in fact, I'm going through it right now. I called my eye doctor and she told me that it was a swollen oil gland in my eyelid. What I'm doing right now is making a hot compress out of a dishtowel (just boil water, pour it over the towel, ring out the water) and hold it against my eye for about 5 minutes or however long it takes for the towel to lose it's hotness.

Though this may not be what is going on with your eye, it's worth a try.

Sty
