Is this an invalid preggers test?

I bought a hpt and the test. The window has a rip in it does that mean that the test in invalid?

It should still work.. I guess it would depend on how deep the rip is, but it should not affect the outcome of the test. As long as you can still see what it says.

generally the directions will tell you to discard any test that is damaged because it may be invalid. I guess you can still try and see what it says, but I myself would feel much more comfortable using a test that had not been damaged

I would take it back and get a new one. You may get an invalid response.

Well, it might work but I would definitely get a new one just incase.

Which window is ripped?  If its the control window, it could still work, if its the answer window, then I would buy new to be safe.  

If you have the reciept, take it back, of coarse unused.

Sounds rather questionable. It might still be viable,

but in the case that it is not, I would purchase another one so that you're not wondering the validity of its results should they be positive.
