No, it's slow - your MAXIMUM download speed will be under 70kb. In the UK this would the the slowest possible connection speed. Also, it's advice that nobody ever takes but wifi is slower and more insecure compared to wired networks so unless you really have to, stick with a wired connection to optimise speed.

To calculate download speeds - take the speed an isp gives you and divide by 8. (ISP's sell in bits per second and download work in bytes per second).

This is on the MUCH lower end of the speed scale, the bandwidth limit also means that you wouldn't be able to download anything (you probably won't anyway given the poor download speed possible).

Go here and run a bandwidth test. It will tell you how fast it is now. I dont go by what my ISP says I should get

If your limit is 2GB of bandwidth per month this is bad.

For example if you were to download 1 movie and upload the same back, along with your general usage, you'd be over that.

it is fairly good internet, Although in some cases some people get download speeds of up to 1000/KB Ps May i ask is this a computer conected by the plug to the router modem, or connected wirelessly?
