I am looking at this horse. does he have good conformation and is is a show winning horse or has potential

Looks like he'd make a nice little English Pleasure (Huntseat) horse.  Says he's been shown English but would be a Western Pleasure prospect.

Would have to see him going Western before I'd commit to him being a good WP horse.

Not a bad price tag on him.

I think if you are looking for an English pleasure/hunt seat horse, he has great conformation for dressage as well!(built uphill w/ a natural head set) but he looks like he is a forward mover, again, great for English but not western, cute face and color....make sure your vet does a good check before you buy him, he looks awesome to me, but being only 8yrs.old and $2,000 w/ him having show experience??? I would be worried about that, he might have a hidden lameness problem, even w/ today's market, he should be going for $3,500-?

Hes bred for western pleasure, but hes not conformed very good for it. What type of prospect are you looking for anyways?

i think it has alot of potential in the showing busness,but dont forget its a reall animal with real feelings so treat it ike it :)

It looks like he has shown hunt seat equitation and has placed very well. He is a fine looking QH! If you're looking for a hunter, or jumper, you might need to get a trainer. I only saw where he was trained for english pleasure, not jumping.

if you cant judge yourself then you clearly are NOT ready for a horse.

but the way this rider is dressed and the poor quality of tack and coat shine tell me he's probably not WELL cared for

I think he looks OK but the people marketing him seem kinda shady. He is in a dressage saddle in pad and the add says he is for advanced riders. OK I can believe that. But then it says they use him in english(hunt seat?)/western lessons and he showed w/t with a 10yr old kid. There are also jumps in the background. Well which is it? I can see a horse doing dressage with advanced people and pleasure lessons with intermediate people but all that training on an 8 year old is bound to make him worth more than $2,000. He also has a poorly presented rider and has a large saddle/saddle pad. The sloppy rider is a turn off for me (a polo and jeans at LEAST for a sale ad). I would not be too concerned about the large saddle/saddle pad but the rest of the ad seems fishy to me so you never know what is going on. I would check him out in person for sure and take him on a ride or 2 (or 3). A good seller will allow miltiple visits if you are really interested.  I would be wary of this though.

I think if he gets some more muscle on him, he'd be beautiful. If i was you, i would ask for a picture that does not have some one on his back, he looks like he could be going sway back. Also, ask if he is HYPP N/N, N/H or H/H. Its is something very important to know. His mane is too long for show. And i personally wouldnt want a walk/trot horse, unless you plan to train him. His too old to not know how to canter. I definitely would not pay $2000 for him.

um sorry to say but i wouldnt touch him with a ten foot pole! he is 8 and already looks like he starting to get a sway back.

i wouldnt say that he is anything special and i certanly wouldnt pay 2000 for him not a chance

he has very nice blood. He looks like a good looking horse.  You should ride him before you buy him to make sure you like the way he moves. Maybe take him and try him out if they will let you.

I like him and he is a lot of horse for the price.  He looks slightly hollow in the back, which can be improved by working him correctly in a collected frame....he's been used for lessons and that happens...but can be fixed.  His legs are sturdy and look clean.  He has good balance and nice angles........you get him working to develop the abdominal muscles and haunches and firm up the back ligaments and he will be exceptional.
