Is this marajana?

in a big store i saw these plants with small flowers, and leaves identical to marijuana leaves. it was surprising to see it in that store they were also called "pot perenials" is it actual pot? does it have the component to make you high?

no, it could make you quite sick, perennials are plants that bloom all seasons, and pot just means they are in a pot planted in soil.

I'm not sure what store you were at, but I do know that they year Home Depot and Lowes were both carrying a small perennial with leaves that DID look very similar to marijuana.  It is a type of feverfew (a perennial herb).  The pot perennial bit refers to the fact that you can grow it in a pot, not that it is pot.  It does not have any properties that will make you high, but it will cure a stomach ache if you make a tea from the flowers.

LOL no it is illegal to sell marijuana in stores.  It was probably just a flower that had leaves that resembled pot and thats why it was called a pot pernenial.  A perenial is a type of flower.

lol no, any form of selling marijuana that will, alter your mind is illegal, and pot really dosnt grow in leaves like that, it grows in rounds buds, so it might be fake, or it might be a close family of marijuana

The "chemical" that gets people "high" is the "sap" of the marijuana plant...

To insects, and other plant predators, that "THC Chemical Sap" is the marijuana's "defense chemical" that actually results in the "death" of other lower life forms that ingest it...

It just so happens that (coincidentally, and much to the benefit of the marijuana plant) THAT very chemical nature of their planty defense system, which usually results in the death of any lower lifeform consuming it, actually makes humans "feel good," which is an "evolutionarily symbiotic relationship" that promotes "humans" to "make sure those plants exist," and makes sure humans will have a "vested interest" in making sure those plants not only exist, but makes sure those plants "thrive" amongst humans...

Fascinating, isn't it?

(not to mention the fact that, there are "scientifically proven" benefits of humans cultivating it, not just for the "high" of it, but the actual "plant material" is very beneficial in creating fiberours materials that are very useful to humans in many ways that "transcend" the plant's ability to get us "high...")

(Disclaimer:  This answerer wants to make sure he goes on record as saying he doesn't believe "other people" ought to indulge in the "high" of the marijuana plant...hee hee)

They were probably chast trees or bushes.  They look like marijuana leaves but they have flowers that attract butterflies.

LOL!!!  I can't believe people are answering like "maybe" and "I seriously doubt it".  I mean wtf.  Yes, you can find weed sold publicly in the U.S.  Weed coming to a store near you.  I better get the best answer for this one.  They're called pot perennials because a) you put them in pots and b) I believe they last all year.  I think that's why they're called perennials.  They can live through the winter.  I may be wrong on that part.  I should look it up for you but this is the U.S. and there is no way you will find weed sold publicly.  Yes some states have some pretty lax laws where a certain amount of weed is actually legal but there is no corner of this country where you can grow and sell it.  A lot of plants out there look like marijuana.  I think even poison ivy resembles marijuana a little bit.  As far as having a component to make you high, they probably don't because I imagine that component would've been discovered by now and made illegal.

I seriously doubt it. the only thing that could be sold legaly in the US at least in a store is called salvia, and its a plant, but it doesnt look, smell, or taste like my BFF Mary jane. and it certainly doesnt have the same effects

i checked and pot perennials really dont look like real pot

and plus, a marijuana plant doesnt even have flowers (except male flowers and they have very small flowers)
