Is this normal during prenancy?

My ex is prego, and she called today upset that she has been bleeding off and on, with lots of extreme cramps. Is this normal? I told her to call her doctor, but kaiser is kinda giving her the run around. The said they wouldnt be able to see her until Sept 17. Are these symptoms normal?

I'm sure if the doctor thought that her cramps were anything to worry about they would have wanted to see her today. I am a mother of three kids and with all of my kids I had lots of cramps and some spotting. The doctors told me that the cramps were ligaments stretching to be able to support the baby. Depending on how far she is it is probably having the same issues. And with multiple pregnancies the stretching gets worse as muscles are weaker and lose elasticity. I'm sure everything is fina and she and the baby are healthy and nothing to worry about.
