I grew up in Tokyo and that brings back memories.  It's something you get used to or you are late getting to work. They do ave one of the best public transportation in the world though so they know what they are doing.  In the newer trains all the seats fold up during rush hour to fit more people in.  You think that's crazy you should see the traffic.  I remember my dad taking us skiing on weekends and it too 3 hours of more to go something like 80 miles.  I miss that place, so much to do there.  I'll have to go back someday.
