Jack Warner flies to Baghdad to watch Tariq, a young Iraqi play football and is suitably impressed and arranges him to come over to play for Trinidad.

Two weeks later in a warm up game Trinidad is 4-0 down, with only 20 minutes left. The team manager gives the young Iraqi striker the nod and on he goes. The boy is a sensation scoring 5 goals in 20 minutes and wins the game for TnT.

The fans are delighted; the players and coaches are delighted and the media love Tariq. When he comes off the field at the stadium he phones his mother to tell her about his first day in Trinidad football.

"Hello mum, guess what?" he says with his Iraqi accent. "I played for 20 minutes today, we were 4-0 down but I scored 5 goals and we won! Everybody loves me, the fans, the media, they all love me. This is great. I just love it here. I am so happy to be here."
