Just wondering-
I finally had my appt. today with the gyno (possible endometriosis) and she ended up doing a pap test even though I had it recently done by my own doctor & everything came back normal as usual.
Anyway, the gyno did one today too & afterwards I noticed cramping but not like when I get my period- these cramps were less intense. I guess my question is this: Why did I have those weird cramps after the pap test? I don't remember ever having them before when my own doctor would do the test- so why after the gyno did it happen?
Also, it made me wonder if it is actually possible for someone to be pregnant (not knowing they are) and have a pap test done, and what if it's so early that the gyno wouldn't even be able to tell? Like, could all that poking and prodding around in there cause any harm or anything?
Just curious if anyone has ever heard of this (being pregnant, not knowing it yet, and having pap test done)
Also, has anyone ever taken Alesse for birth control pills? I have to take them for at least 3 months to see if it regulates my periods & it's been YEARS since I've taken birth control pills. I am 26 yrs old. Never been pregnant.
Sorry for the long question but thanks ahead of time for anyone who answers this!!
