Question

If I were to buy a calling card to call someone long distance from my home phone.

Would it show up on my next phone bill?

Like the number I called that is.

for ex. say his number is[made it up] : 15125166714

will his actual number apear on the home phone bill?

Im just really worried about the number showing up on the phone bill.

No if you buy and use a prepaid calling card the number you call is a 1-800 number. This number will show up on the phone bill.

Be sure NOT use a phone card provided by a phone company, as it may show the number. I would get a store branded phone like the Walgreens card.

when you use a pre-paid calling card, you have to dial a toll free #, then enter in the pin provided on the card.  Then you dial the # you which to call.  So in short, no.....your bf's # will not show up on your home phone bill if using a pre-paid calling card

the number for the calling card may appear on your bill, but not the person you are calling..

as for the other answers... iif you are calling from your home phone do not waste your time with a calling card with an 800 access number, get a card with a local access number, it will be cheaper per minute if you dial a local access number and not a toll free number...

why dont you want the number to show up on your bill. is it that your not supposed to be calling him because if it is they can see that you made a long distance call to someone it shows up on the bill but if your parent are oblivious to you call him they your good.
