Question:

Is this pushing me out?

My father hogs the living room, which is the warmest room in the house, and makes funny sounds with his mouth, while he draws. When I ask him to move to his study, he says, "you're driving me mad", which is exactly how I feel about him.

  1. o_O Ummm...

    Lol?

  2. So wear a sweater, buy a small heater for your room, wear gloves and a hat to keep yourself warm.  If its his house he can work whereever he wants to and if you don't like it you can always move in with a friend.  A living room is for watching TV and I paint my pictures in the living room too.

  3. get ear plugs or headphones, don't anger your father.

  4. he's treating you like you're a leopard.

    good luck

  5. I don't know what you do in the living room but I'd just use an ipod/mp3 player and turn up the sound. I think you're both entitled to use the living room so unless you can get a small heater for your own room I guess you guys might just have to work out a compromise.

  6. yes but i think your dad just likes his quiet but doesnt see how you feel

confont him and explain it to him when hes not drawing you could  get him not to make those noises or he could move

think also about how everyone like to stay warm its not his fault

  7. who pays the bills??? not you ...

  8. If you want to sit in the living room while your father is there, just grab your iPod or mp3 player and listen to that. That way, you can't hear him because your listening to music and you'd be warm! :)

  9. no. i think thats typically a dad thing. my dad can be obnoxious too, but in the end hes family. :)

  10. It is his house...

  11. hes probably having a hard time at work

  12. Let the guy work, you emo r****d.

  13. Why don't you go to the study? I bet he just likes it cause it's warm too. Buy yourself an electric heater and stay in your room.
