Is this result good? GRE?

I got 70% + or - 16% on a GRE preparation test,

How much do I need to obtain in order to be admitted to a good university?

Some great universities don't even require GREs, so it's impossible to say.  If you're asking whether that score is a good one compared to the national average...it's OK.  If you have your heart set on Harvard...keep studying.

Don't forget to take the subject GRE for your desired degree.

That score is considered important by many excellent institutions.

a 1300 is considered very good. what's ur verbal-quant split up? And some unis require a minimum AWA score of 4.

Honestly, I don't know about percentages.  I got I think a 595 on both sections when I took it, and I got into my top choice.
