Is this safe to plug in??

OK, i have a psp charger but no plug in the wall

but i do have a chord that seems to fit the adapter but its a little big so i took my knife to it and shaved a little plastic off of it and now it fits

the adapter is 5v 2000ma

but the chord just says7a 125a

I'm not sure what the cord part is that you're talking about, but without the numbers I can't say for sure. If you have to guess, you shouldn't try it.

...unless you've got a fire extinguisher handy and don't really care about the PSP of course.

i tried to do that once and it caught on fire seriously.. not a good idea!
