  1. It could just be her doing a new thing is she coughing if she is doing that  and coughing i would be getting her checked out and even if she's not coughing and it is bothering you have her checked out anyways its always better to find out and be nothing then to end up letting it go and it turn out to be something.

  2. mii baby did that, he stopped tho about 2 weeks ago maybe. he is gonna be 2 months old on wednesday.

mii nurse said not to worry to much about it unless his lips turn blue or something like if he stops breathing..

mii yougner sister used to do that in her sleep too mii mom and dad said they had to turn her on her side and she would start breathing again she is now 14 years old now

  3. I would get it checked now .... it sounds like croup or asthma, i dont think that any strnage breathing sounds should be ignored just in case. Better to feel like an bit of an idiot at the ER when it is nothing than for something  worse to happen.

My son gets asthma and he sounds like that when his airways are restricted..

  4. I am a CCMA and a mother of 3 now teenagers

It is called CROUP and she should go to the ER and get checked out

  5. dylan turned four months old today and his 'laugh' sounds like a squeal.. he breathes in and screeches like (sounds like hes gasping for air) and the other day he started going "ooh ooh ooh ooh" really fast and i thought he was about to be going into a seizure cuz i'm paranoid lol.... but it was just him talking.. he's a big talker, and very vocal already..

but youre her mommy and if you think she is struggling to breathe.. absolutely do not wait!! thats nothing to mess with.  but if shes just talking or making noises/ familiarizing herself with her voice and the things she can do, than i wouldnt worry... but you be the judge, no one knows her better than you!  good luck :)

  6. I don't think so, she is probably just figuring stuff out about her body..in the next few years you will get lots of strange noises from her..if she is gasping for air like you would be if you were being smothered then yes..but I don't think she is..i think she is just trying to figure her body out and seeing what she can do...

  7. my daughter has also started doing this she just turned 12 weeks yesterday - i don't think its anything to be alarmed about though
