  1. Yes, it is, unless it is unattributable. You have a responsibility to Check to see who said it & give them credit.

  2. If Its Not CopyRighted Your Not Plagarising Or StealingTechnically like you cant be taken to court or anything but it is unethitcal to claim someones saying and sell it without giving them credit

  3. Well, there's one technique called "paraphrase", you don't have to copy exactly 100% the saying. Just change some word, but the main idea should stay the same.

  4. Plagerism is when you publish something written by someone else but say that "you" wrote it. Stealing is taking something that isn't yours. Copyright laws are there to protect people from capitalizing on an idea that someone else came up with. If the saying is a generic statement that you've heard lots of times in lots of places there' sprobably no copyright on it. For instance, Donald Trump wanted to copyright "Your Fired." But how can you do that? It's a common term that's been around for ages.

Do some research. Buy the calendar and call the company that published it. Type the phrase online and see if it's attached to anything else.

Also, if it's generic - is there some way to "tweak" it by adding or changing a word so that it's not an exact duplicate? This might get you around any copyright infringement.
