Is this too soon?

sent a new claim for tax credits the 19th of june apprantly they recieved it the 24 of june called saturday and was told that it had finished processing the 3rd of july and that they are going to pay me the 9th of july and that they have a issued a payment to go into my account what does this mean?is itthis the normal amount of time it takes or am i just lucky or ist because i recently ended a single claim to a joint one

I used to work in the tax credits family, believe me a lot of cliams will get messed up at this time of year, most get processed smoothly though, you will get paid on the 9th if it is into your bank account, if for any reason it is not, the answer is to keep on at them, keep a record of dates that they give you, and if you feel that you are not getting anywhere ask to speak to a team leader (manager), they all have one available, all calls are recorded so always be polite and all advisors leave a note on the system of what they did in the call, so the next advisor knows where you claim is at.
