Is this worth fighting for? Legally?

My mom has been working as an after school teacher for 7 years. All of a sudden she recieved a call from the principal stating that she no longer has a job because they wanted "Para- pros" to take over. The only thing that separates her from being a para pro, is a class and a test.

The school doesnt send her papers of any sort or form acknoweledging her discharge. She called to the personnel office to see what steps are required in getting this all in black and white and they said that she was still on the payroll.

Why are they giving my mom such a hard time. All of the students loved her as well as the parents. She followd the rules and this discharge is not something of her wrong doing.

Should we take legal action??

Yes, you should at least contact an attorney to find out what her rights are.

You should have your lawyer look into this and have this dealt with in court. Because the school can't do something like this without justifiable reason.
