Is twilight series an expensive paperback ?

I can`t afford to pay more then 9.00 a book tax included.

i got my paper back copies at walmart

they were each a little over 7 dollars, probably reaching your limit of $9 each including the tax

however, the hardbacks are around $13

Try the public library, the books are free and you can spend the cash on something else.
