Sometimes sisters can be mean.I know this becsue I have to sisters. And at times they are mad at me but I  know they still love me and I know they wouldn't hurt me. Just sit and talk to your sister and see whats up. I mean she can't be mean to you all the time. Or is it that your not spending enough time with her.  Or maybe its she just doens't like the friends you hang out with. So just sit and talk to her and ask whats wrong?

No.  My sister is someone who is like a friendly kitten but oftentimes when she's angry, she's like a ferocious tiger.  

Please note that when my sister is angry she normally has a logical reason for it.

Sisters and brothers can act mean out of jealousy sometimes.  Thats why we pick our friends and we dont pick our family.  I'm sure that your sister does love you and if you two are young, then she will grow out of it.  I never conected with my sisters when I was young.  I do ok with one now, but not completely.  The other one looks down on me because she works and I am a stay at home mom, so you never know what life brings.  I think the main issue is jealousy and if that can be brought out in the open, maybe some things can be resolved.  Take Care and good luck.

My sister and I went through a stage where she was mean to me all the time, but we grew out of it. For about a year or so, everything I did was wrong in her eyes, but eventually we became closer than ever. I realize now in retrospect that we didn't really get along because of the difference in our maturity levels. Because she is younger than I am, she didn't really know how to respond when I started to become responsible and goal oriented and she was still carefree and irresponsible. If your sister is younger than you, I'm sure that that's the problem. If she is older than you, then maybe she is jealous of your social life. Does she have friends coming over as much as you do? This could be the issue. Besides that, is it possible that you and your friend are just loud and annoy her? Consider that she might be as upset about this situation as you are. Try talking to her about it. If that doesn't work, give her some space and stay out of her hair. She'll start being nice eventually. Good luck! Hope this helps!
