I used a lot of Vaseline for s*x with my girl friend the other day and now she is complaining about a burning inside. Is Vaseline for that or does she need to seek immediate medical attention?

  1. Vaseline is not a suitable lubricant for s*x. You must use any water soluble lubricant like K-Y jelly. It will solve your problem

  2. go and see your obgyn

  3. If your using vasoline and condums together that is the problem, one causes the other to break down and the chemical released from the "rubber" could be the issue.

  4. I would not so much be concerned about your gf's burning inside (even tho' it's uncomfortable) as I would the fact that petroleum jelly can cause holes and miniscule tears in condoms, diaphragms and cervical caps, enough so that they are no longer effective as birth control, and she could easily get pregnant this way.  Yes, Vaseline is safe as a lubricant, but it's not recommended b/c a) it's petroleum based, b) b/c of the aforementioned condom problem;  c)  There are just a lot of healthier, safer lubes out there in the world to use, including lots of fun ones that heat up and that smell and taste lovely, such as the entire Aphrodisia line.  It may just be that she has friction sore(s).  You won't really know, however,  unless she goes to the gyno to get checked out.  Spend more time on foreplay so that she is well lubricated and more ready for you next time.  Like they say, "If mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy..."  That, my dear man, would be the key to peace and happiness on earth!  Keeping your woman satisfied, and not hurt.

  5. if it was from the vaseline it would have bothered her right away

If she is new to s*x then it could just be normal irratation caused by intercourse.  It could also be caused by soap if she tried to clean up there.

  6. Vaseline is not water soluble, which is why it is not used for s*x. (there are many other products designed for that) Since you used a lot then she should see a doctor.
