Question:

Is wild bunny urine toxic?

My husband found a baby bunny at work. He looked all around and couldn't find a nest anywhere. He brought it home and we've been caring for it for a couple of days now. I am worried though because we have an 18 month old daughter and I am pregnant. I don't allow my daughter around it but I'm not so sure that I should be around it either. It pooped and urinated on me earlier and I'm kinda worried now. I've looked on a website about taking care of baby bunnies and they all say to call a professional, but we don't have the money to pay for a vet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  2. No its not toxic but the bunny might have germs on it and all you need to do is to make sure you wash your hands after touching it. As it is a wild bunny then it may have genetic defects to if you are going to keep it then just be warned it may not last long as it is very common very wild bunnys to have health problems.

    Hope i helped :D
