Question:

Is your guinea pig picky?

I had always read that guinea pigs are very picky about their food and you should feed a variety of veggies when they're young so they'll eat it later. Well being 9 when I got mine, she only got an occasional treat of grapes and lettuce. But she didn't grow up rejecting food. If I hold something under her nose and it looks edible, she'll gobble it right up.

How about your pig?

  1. Most of my boys will eat absolutely anything. I have one guinea pig, Buzz, who doesn't like certain things. He doesn't like grapes, tomatoes, or red bell pepper at all. All of the others eat absolutely everything in sight!

  2. lol, it really depends on how hungry they are. Usually they will eat anything, from romaine lettuce to book pages, but if they are feeling moody, they might not eat as much.
