Is your kid out of control?

How do you think it happened? What did you do to regain control?

I am most interested in how you think you lost control in first place. Please give details. Thanks in advance.

Kids become "out of control" because control is let go of. We teach our kids how to act. They don't teach themselves.

If parents maintain consistent discipline, and spend time with their kids showing them right from wrong, nothing too major will happen.

It's never too late to gain control,but the longer it goes, the harder it is.

Unplanned kids where the father ducked out on his responsibilities.  What do you expect?  Mom picked a loser.  Mom is forced to work 2-3 jobs to make ends meet.  Kids at home alone with too much idle time.  Loser adults generally breed loser kids.  It's one of America's greatest problems.

The loser parents are trapped and don't gain control.  The kids finally go to jail (hopefully before they've seriously hurt someone else.)

Best Advice : Use a couple methods of birth control until you're ready to become a parent.  I mean really thought about all the angles, have a stable multi-year relationship with someone, financial means to support a child.  And make sure you are truly ready for this life changing commitment and make it an actual choice, not a responsibility.
